It’s no surprise that car manufacturers have discovered the benefits of having their own apps available to customers. Ford’s offering to the app market is FordPass Connect which includes the FordPass Rewards program.
What is FordPass Rewards
FordPass Rewards is a program designed to provide incentives to consumers who choose to purchase qualifying products or services from dealers like Bolton Ford. With FordPass Rewards, you earn points that can be redeemed later toward the purchase of products or services. This program replaces the Owner Advantage Rewards program that Ford previously offered.
Getting Started with FordPass Rewards
Joining the FordPass Rewards program is a simple process. When you buy or lease a new Ford, you are eligible to join FordPass Connect. Purchasing a Certified Pre-Owned Ford can also make you eligible to join FordPass. After making your vehicle purchase, download the FordPass app, accept the terms of use, and activate your car. How to Earn Points
When you purchase a new Ford and join FordPass, you earn 42,000 points toward complimentary maintenance services. If you purchase a qualified Certified Pre-Owned Ford, you earn 22,000 points. When you purchase Motorcraft or Omnicraft parts, you earn points. Paying for labor to install your Motorcraft or Omnicraft parts at the service department here at Bolton Ford can earn you points. On average, each dollar you spend on qualifying parts and labor earns you 10 reward points with FordPass Rewards. Occasionally, you can earn additional points by participating in surveys or watching videos through the FordPass app or website. Setting a preferred dealership, like Bolton Ford, in your app can also earn you points. Typically, points will deposit to your FordPass account within 10 days of paying for qualifying service and within 30 days of a qualifying sales transaction.
When to Redeem Points
You can use the points you earn with FordPass Rewards toward service transactions at a participating dealership, like Bolton Ford. Points can also be redeemed toward the purchase of a new vehicle, or a qualifying Certified Pre-Owned Ford. There isn’t a cap placed on the number of points you can redeem, but there is a time limit. If you don’t redeem your points or fulfill other rewards earned through FordPass within 365 calendar days, they will expire. Simply using the app does not prevent your points from expiring.
